CHOOSE YOUR MARTIAL ART
Many of us want to be a martial arts expert like Bruce Lee, but sadly getting THAT good takes more than just a few minutes - it requires years of dedicated effort to become an expert. It also requires the selection of correct martial arts style. A person can reach nowhere if he selects a wrong way to reach his destination and same thing applies to the selection of the martial arts style.
As we know that there are many styles of martial arts such as Karate, Taw Kwon Do, Judo, Kung Fu, Boxing and Kickboxing, etc but the most important question is that which one should we choose? Some of the most famous martial arts styles are explained below.
Judo
Judo mainly focuses on self defence techniques. The experts of this style teach students to put holds and locks on opponents. You are also taught how to throw. This style of martial arts does not involve throwing punches or kicks. The experts of this style can easily control their opponent without being violent. So if you want to become such an expert who can control his opponent with minimum attacks then you should practice Judo.
Kung Fu
This style has gained fame with the popularity of Bruce Lee, who was a master of this style. This style has started from China and mostly practiced in China.
Jeet Kune Do
After practicing Kung Fu for many years, Bruce Lee developed his own moves and compiled all the moves in a new martial arts style known as Jeet Kune Do. These martial arts involve street situations of real life so if you want to be a real-life street fighter then you should practice the defense and attack methods of Jeet Kune Do.
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
As the name suggests, Mixed Martial Arts is the combination of different fighting styles. The MMA fighters can punch, kick and wrestle. These fighters can apply moves of different fighting styles. MMA fighting is also known as Cage Fighting. So if you do not want to limit yourself to powerful kicks or punches or some specific styles then you should practice MMA.
